Meet Your Dietitian

Cristen Lindsay, RD

Hi, I’m Cristen Lindsay, a Registered Dietitian with specialized expertise in nutrition support. For the past eight years, I’ve worked with patients who require complex nutrition care, including tube feeding and total parenteral nutrition (TPN). My passion is helping people and their families feel supported, informed, and confident when managing life-sustaining nutrition.

I began my career at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, a large Level 1 trauma hospital where I worked with critically ill patients and also provided outpatient neurology care. Since 2022, I’ve been part of the team at Clovis Community Medical Center, where I continue to focus on nutrition support for both ICU and medical-surgical patients.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and completed my dietetic internship at California State University, Fresno. I’ve also held the Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) credential and plan to renew it this year.

Why I Started Nutrition Support Rx

I founded Nutrition Support Rx because I saw how many patients were discharged from the hospital without enough outpatient support for their tube feeding or TPN needs. My goal is to bridge that gap — giving you and your healthcare providers the guidance you need to make nutrition therapy safer, more effective, and less stressful.

My Approach

  • Compassionate, one-on-one care

  • Evidence-based medical nutrition therapy

  • Collaboration with your doctors and care team

  • Respect for your goals, values, and lifestyle

Outside of Work

When I’m not working with patients, I enjoy spending time with my three children, exploring new recipes, and reading all the books.
