Tube Feeding Care

Tube feeding at home can raise a lot of practical questions. Nutrition Support Rx offers one-on-one enteral nutrition support for patients and caregivers in Clovis, Fresno, and the Central Valley. Cristen Lindsay, RD, helps you understand your feeding plan, meet nutrition needs, and work through challenges with your medical team.

Who I help

I work with people using nasogastric (NG), gastrostomy (G or PEG), and gastrojejunostomy (GJ) tubes, including those adjusting to a new tube feeding plan after a hospital stay. Caregivers are welcome to participate in visits and learn the day-to-day details of home feeding.

Individualized enteral nutrition support

We review your health history, feeding schedule, formula, hydration, weight trends, symptoms, and goals. Support may include evaluating whether the plan meets your nutrition needs, discussing formula and schedule options, troubleshooting tolerance concerns, and helping you make a manageable routine. Changes to prescribed feeding plans are coordinated with your prescriber and care team.

As your needs change, we can revisit the plan and communicate with your physician, home health team, and other clinicians involved in your care. You will have clear next steps and a place to bring questions between transitions in care.

Visits and coverage

Appointments are available in person at 205 W. Bullard Ave, Unit 4, Clovis, CA 93612, and by telehealth when appropriate. Nutrition Support Rx is in network with Medicare, Anthem Blue Cross, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Blue Shield of California, and Adventist Health, with additional networks in progress. Coverage varies by plan and diagnosis; please contact me to verify benefits.
